Food Shelf

Food Shelf

The BRICK’s pantry program provides an assortment of food items, both fresh and non-perishable, to eligible households in Ashland and Bayfield counties. Participants may visit The BRICK’s Food Shelf once each month, receiving three to five days’ worth of groceries. This is supplemental food, which The BRICK obtains from partners such as The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Second Harvest Northland Food Bank, Walmart’s Feed America Program, and donations from area churches, community organizations, and individuals.

The BRICK has four pantry locations in Ashland, Cable, Cornucopia, and Mellen.

  • Ashland Food Shelf, 420 Ellis Avenue,  open from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Mondays through Wednesday, Thursdays 9 am to 7 pm, closed on Fridays
