Meet Our Team

Executive Director, Liz Seefeldt

Liz is a purposeful thinker known for careful planning and innovative observations.  She emphasizes cooperation and inclusion, blending diplomacy and candor.  An active community leader, she served as the Clerk for the Town of Kelly in Bayfield County, Wisconsin for 22 years before retiring in 2023.   Liz is a lifelong volunteer, having served with numerous and varied nonprofit organizations at every organizational level. The unique culture and landscape of Lake Superior and Wisconsin’s Northwoods are dear to her heart.

Food Shelf Manager, Amaris Shrider

Amaris Shrider has 10+ years working in Program Management with nonprofits, and has been with The BRICK since late 2020. She appreciates being ‘part of the solution,’ working with volunteers, and managing inventory. She currently resides in Bayfield, WI.

Benevolence Manager, Alice Evenson

Alice Evenson started volunteering at The BRICK in the food pantry and at the front desk before becoming the Benevolence Manager.  She has lived in Ashland most of her life and continues to live here today with her husband, 6 children, and the family’s fur babies.  Alice loves this community and is deeply dedicated to the people in it.  She has enjoyed volunteering over time for several area organizations including Chequamegon Humane Association, New Day Advocacy Center, L.I.F.E Ministries, and Cub Scouts. She has participated in many community activities like the Relay for Life and BINGO at Our Lady of the Lake.  Alice’s passion is helping people and working one-on-one with individuals to help them find the most useful information and the best resources possible in the area.

Office Manager and Bookkeeper, Cheyanne Reeves

Cheyanne Reeves is a former pantry volunteer that joined our staff in 2017. She is a graduate of Northland College and has a particular soft spot for promoting community engagement and food security in the Chequamegon Bay area.  She loves enjoying long walks, having a finger in every pie, and spending downtime with loved ones (especially her three cats—Sass, Frenchie, and Flora).
